ORDERS

 

DOMESTIC ORDERS: By making your purchase, you are agreeing to purchase postage from either USPS, FedEx, or UPS, which are third-party shipping companies separate from Flanders Company. Our handling time is 1-2 business days, and the shipping time varies based on the shipping method selected.  Flanders Company is not responsible for any transit delays or errors. Once the item is shipped and the tracking information has been provided, please contact the shipping companies if there are any issues with the delivery of your package. If a wrong address is provided by the customer, we will only grant a refund once the package is returned to us. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Delivery time frames are not guaranteed as they are in the hands of a third party. If a delivery is made outside of the estimated time frame, or the tracking information shows delivered but you cannot find the item on your property, you must contact the shipping company for further information. No refund will be given for shipping delays or lost items. It is your responsibility to check the legality of these parts in your state. Please check your local DOT laws before purchasing. PRODUCTS ARE INTENDED FOR OFF-ROAD OR COMPETITION USE ONLY.

FREE SHIPPING OPTION FOR DOMESTIC ORDERS: U.S. RETAIL customers are offered a free shipping option for orders with a discounted subtotal greater than $149.99 (before taxes applied). The order’s shipment destination must reside within the United States of America’s lower 48-states. The free shipping options still utilize our standard postage providers and 3rd party shipping companies. All terms and conditions that apply to normal orders will continue to apply to orders with a free shipping option. Certain items that are excessively bulky in nature will not be eligible for this offer. Some exclusions apply.

SHIPPING SIGNATURE REQUEST: ALL ORDERS WITH A SUBTOTAL AMOUNT OVER $300 WILL AUTOMATICALLY HAVE A SIGNATURE REQUEST APPLIED TO THE SHIPPING. If you would like to remove the signature request, you must include a note in the COMMENT/NOTE section of the order stating that you would like to remove the shipping signature request and also email/call us to inform us to remove the signature request. By removing the signature request, you are fully responsible for the package and you are waiving Flanders Company from any delivery issues.  If the signature request is removed, Flanders Company will not be liable for any missing or lost package after the tracking information shows that it’s delivered. The signature request is to protect your package by preventing the shipping carrier from leaving the package unattended.  Third-party shipping companies will accept signatures from someone at the ship to address. If the carrier shows a signature, that means that your package has been delivered to someone at that address. If you have a package lock box, please include the CODE # in your address which could easily be identified and not mistaken for a building number, for example, PACKGE BOX CODE 1234.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: We are not responsible for customs delays, carrier delays, or import fees. By placing your order you are accepting the risks and/or import fees (tax, duties, GST, VAT, etc) associated with an international purchase. Shipping delivery times are estimates only. DELAYS MAY OCCUR. This is not something we can predict or control. It is your responsibility, and your responsibility only, to look into possible causes of delays once the item is in transit to you. We will not refund shipping costs due to transit delays. If the shipment is refused or has issue going through customs due to issues, missing information, or if the carrier cannot contact the recipient, the cost incurred from the carrier will be deducted from the refund. Please note that all charges are in US Dollars. We are required by law to report accurate information on customs forms. We will not mark it as a “gift.”

Additional shipping charges may apply for larger international orders.

INTERNATIONAL VEHICLE MAKE AND MODEL NOTE: ALL OF THE ITEMS WE CARRY ARE DESIGNED FOR U.S. BIKE MODELS. ALTHOUGH SOME PARTS MAY WORK WITH INTERNATIONAL MODELS, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THESE PARTS WILL WORK WITH YOUR VEHICLE AND COMPLY WITH LOCAL LAWS. PLEASE BE SURE THAT THE PART(S) WILL WORK WITH YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE MAKING YOUR PURCHASE.

FRAUD SCREENING: We generally ship all orders within 1-2 business days however, Flanders Company reserves the right to hold or cancel an order if fraudulent payment activity is suspected. Any shipment delays resulting from a hold are not grounds for shipping refunds, additional return time, or any other credits or exceptions. If your order is canceled, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.

CANCELLATIONS:

By customer request: Orders can be canceled by customers so long as they have not been shipped. You must send a cancellation request to info@flandersco.com or call our office before your order ships.

By Flanders Company: 

  • We reserve the right to refuse service (including the cancellation of an order) to anyone, at any time, for any reason. Refunds to an original payment method will be applied where applicable.
  • We will cancel orders that are intended to be delivered to a shipping forwarding company, as well as hotels, motels, and other temporary locations. A full refund to the original payment method will be provided in this event.

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

 

We will accept returns up to 30 days after the date of purchase. Please check that your order is complete and all items are working properly within 30 days. There will be no returns, exchanges, or missing item replacements outside of this 30-day window. Please email us to request a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA). Returns without a Return Merchandise Authorization number will be rejected. Please make sure that the RMA# is clearly displayed on the outside of the box or on the shipping label.

All items must be returned in original condition and packaging including any hardware, content, and instruction sheets. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping costs will not be refunded, even if free shipping was received, the cost that Flanders Company incurred to ship the order to you will be deducted from the refund amount.  There may be a restocking fee on certain items to cover the costs associated with processing the return. Any item returned with an RMA#, in a perfectly new, unopened condition, and that complies with our other return policies, will not be charged a restocking fee. Typical returns with items that have been opened, unpackaged, but returned nonetheless may incur a small restocking fee (typically around 10%-20% of the item’s value). Any parts and merchandise that have been installed are considered used and cannot be returned. A higher restocking fee may apply if the item is returned without an RMA#, is damaged in any way, or if any pieces are missing. If your return falls under any of these conditions where a restocking fee is valid, do not expect it to be waived under any circumstances. If a wrong item is received, we will rectify the situation at no cost to you. Please consider this before making your purchase. Exchanges must be dealt with as two separate transactions by returning the current item for a refund and purchasing the new one in a separate order. Please allow 3-5 days to receive your refund after your return is received. NO RETURN OR EXCHANGE is accepted for parts that have been modified, altered, or used. If you use your discretion to install, modify, or alter the item, it will VOID returns, exchanges, and most likely any manufacturer warranties. By modifying or altering the parts, you agree to accept the part(s) as it is.

For accepted returns:

  • Your refund will be based on the amount you paid for the returned item.
  • If a discount was applied to your original order, this will be taken into account.
  • If you paid for shipping on your original order, this expense will not be refunded to you.
  • If you received free shipping on your original order, your refund will be lessened by the cost incurred by Flanders Company to ship your item to you originally.
  • A restocking fee will be applied to your refund amount if one applies to your return.

Electronics, Hard Parts, Tools, Tires:

  • Any electronic which has been removed from packaging or manufacturer seal broken is non-returnable.
  • Any part which has been installed or shows signs of attempting to be installed on a vehicle is non-returnable.
  • Any Tool or Chemical that has been opened or seal broken is non-returnable.
  • Open-box items for which the packaging has been destroyed are not returnable.

COUPON CODES AND PROMOTIONS

Coupon codes must be entered into the coupon code field at the time of checkout with the exception of our return customer code, which is entered into the notes field along with your previous order number. PLEASE NOTE THAT ONCE YOUR ORDER SHIPS, NO DISCOUNTS CAN BE APPLIED. Special discounts including holiday sales and free shipping promotions, cannot be applied retroactively. Please note there are NO retroactive discounts on special bundles. The discount is only received when the bundle is purchased as a whole. There are also no substitutions. Discounts cannot be combined. If a coupon code is entered in for an item where we explicitly state that no discounts or coupons can be used, your order will be cancelled. Please read specific ads for details and follow the instructions for coupons and discounts to avoid disruption of your order.

 

PRODUCT LEGALITY FOR PUBLIC ROADWAY USE

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a particular product’s listing, products sold by Flanders Company are not legally certified for public roadway use and should be used in off-road conditions. They do not have DOT certification, nor any other certificates for public roadway use (in the USA and internationally). Certain products may not comply with emission regulations and other laws beyond signaling, safety, visibility, etc. Flanders Company is not responsible for any damages, tickets, or actions taken against you through the use of these products on regulated roadways. Products developed by other brands and sold in our store are not guaranteed legality by Flanders Company. The manufacturers of those products will specify whether or not their products comply with certain laws and regulations.

PRODUCTS SOLD ARE INTENDED FOR OFF-ROAD OR COMPETITION USE ONLY.

Race Engine, Engine Bore-up Kit, and Internal Engine Parts Disclaimer: NO WARRANTY ON RACE ENGINE parts or engine bore up kits.  There is no warranty stated or implied due to the unusual stresses placed on these parts and because we have no control over how they are installed and used.  Flanders Company will not be held liable for any failure or damage caused directly or indirectly from the use of these products or engine.  The installation and use of these products or engines shall be conclusive evidence that the user assumes full responsibility for any damage caused directly or indirectly by their use. Professional installation and tuning is required for all engine bore up and internal engine parts.
